Rules Regarding Donating or Gifting in Lal Kitab: |

It is a general rule that if a planet is exalted or well placed in the horoscope, the Karak objects of those planets should not be donated or gifted. On the contrary accepting gifts of these items is considered auspicious.
If a planet is badly placed in the horoscope then the karak objects of such planets can be gifted or donated, but should not be accepted as gifts or as donation. |

Sun: |
|
1st house: Sun is exalted here, therefore he should not gift or donate copper, wheat grain or gur [ jaggery ]. This could get him in trouble with the State
7th & 8th house : Donations in the morning and evening hours by persons having SURYA in 7th or 8th house of their horoscope will produce highly harmful and poisonous effects. |

Moon : |
|
2nd house: Moon is exalted here therefore one should not gift pearl, silver, milk, rice etc. He can accept these in gift.
6th house: arranging for free distribution of water or milk, or spending money for facilities like a public Pio [ water distribution place] etc will be inauspicious. It could lead to his illness or illness in the family.
8th house : Person with Moon in 8th house can donate things associated with the moon but should not accept them as gifts.
12th house : Person with Moon in 12th house should not feed a beggar or a sadhu. |

Mars : |
|
3rd house: Person with mars in 3rd house should not distribute sweets.
10th house: Person with mars in 10th house should not gift or donate things associated with Mars,as in the 3rd house. |
|
Mercury: |
|
6th house: Person with mercury in 6th house should not gift items associated with mercury like pen, flowers, musical instruments, belt, sea shells,bamboo.
12th house : Person with mercury in 12th house should gift mercury related things.
